Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Honolulu, HI)

Nova Ember Press is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for press runs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
