Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Harbor Banking Services and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
