Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Grand Rapids, MI)

Lumen Meridian Banking Services is a regional lender in Grand Rapids with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around branch operations that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in branch operations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
