Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Grand Rapids, MI)

Clearpath North Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
