Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Fort Worth, TX)

Ironwood Keystone Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Fort Worth. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
