Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Lantern Learning Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
