Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Columbus, OH)

Summit Harbor Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Columbus presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Design for tasks around visitor services that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in visitor services. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
