Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Cleveland, OH)

Redstone Birch Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Cleveland presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
