Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Cleveland, OH)

Northwind Forge Transit Planning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in fare systems. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
