Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Cleveland, OH)

Silverline Pike Community Partners is a Cleveland charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
