Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Charlotte, NC)

Amberfield Junction Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Charlotte plant. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around customer orders that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
