Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Buffalo, NY)

Northwind Field Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Buffalo plant, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 106 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in paper stock. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
