Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Boise, ID)

Northwind Transit Planning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in survey data. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
