Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Amberfield North Early Learning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
