Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Birmingham, AL)

Clearpath Beacon Community Partners runs community programmes across Birmingham, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in benefits enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
