Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Austin, TX)

Cedar Pine Medical is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for complaint handling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in complaint handling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
