Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Nova Keystone Arts Center Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in volunteer programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
