Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Austin, TX)

Lumen Ember Early Learning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people based in Austin. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
