Senior UX Designer - accessibility review (Austin, TX)

Northwind Quarry Banking Services is a regional lender in Austin with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Austin. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan files. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
