Senior Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Forge Freight and adding a Senior Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on customer tracking that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
