Senior Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Indianapolis, IN)

Silverline Mill Freight Group is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst. The job centres on logistics cost analysis for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on loads and lanes that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
