Senior Supply Chain Analyst - logistics cost analysis (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Maple Financial and adding a Senior Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be logistics cost analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 683 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on regulatory reports that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. Nice to have • Knowledge of regulatory reports. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
