Senior Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Union Freight and adding a Senior Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be inventory optimisation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
