Senior Supply Chain Analyst - inventory optimisation (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Summit Pike Manufacturing and adding a Senior Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be inventory optimisation. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on customer orders that planners can act on. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. What we are looking for • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer orders. • Experience with an ERP or planning system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
