Senior Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Rochester, NY)

Ironwood Forge Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to take on demand planning. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. • Build reports on customer tracking that planners can act on. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
