Senior Supply Chain Analyst - demand planning (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Sparrow Freight and adding a Senior Supply Chain Analyst whose main responsibility will be demand planning. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Forecast demand and recommend inventory levels. • Support annual contract and network reviews. • Track supplier delivery and quality performance. • Build reports on carrier rates that planners can act on. • Analyse transport and storage costs and find savings. What we are looking for • Clear communication with non-analysts. • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data files. • Two or more years in supply chain, planning or operations analysis. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP or planning system. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
