Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Tulsa, OK)

Northwind Vista Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Tulsa and nearby communities, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our web applications. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about treatment plant data into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
