Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Seattle, WA)

Bluepeak Works is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Seattle, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
