Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Seattle, WA)

Amberfield Basin Facilities looks after properties across the Seattle region. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on web applications. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Turn requests about safety inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
