Senior Software Engineer - web applications (San Jose, CA)

Greenridge Maple Financial serves customers across San Jose with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on web applications. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about account servicing into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
