Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Mill Care Services supports families and individuals in Rochester with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on web applications. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about family communication into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
