Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Lakeside Telecom and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about network equipment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
