Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Stone Energy Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about outage response into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
