Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Umber Telecom and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
