Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Cedar Bridge Care Services is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
