Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Juniper Facilities Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about safety inspections into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
