Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Bright Willow Medical Group is a Kansas City company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would join a large organisation of about 624 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about training materials into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
