Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Lumen Quill Care Services is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
