Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Northwind Linden Facilities looks after properties across the St. Louis region, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
