Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Cedar Ashton Legal Group provides legal services in Boise across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
