Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Redstone Yarrow Facilities is a facilities company in Austin with crews on day and night shifts, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
