Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Lumen Stone Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Boise. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on web applications. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
