Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Silverline North Financial is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about loan applications into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with loan applications. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
