Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Clearpath Lantern Early Learning is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about licensing records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with licensing records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
