Senior Software Engineer - web applications (remote)

Bright Union Health is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 274 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about electronic records into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
