Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Portland, OR)

Summit Sparrow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Portland. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on web applications. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about caregiver training into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
