Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Cedar West Facilities and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be web applications. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about customer sites into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
