Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Philadelphia, PA)

Rivermark Beacon Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on web applications. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about regulatory reports into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
