Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Philadelphia, PA)

Summit Vale Financial is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about payment disputes into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with payment disputes. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
