Senior Software Engineer - web applications (Omaha, NE)

Highbridge Quill Legal Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on web applications for trust accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about trust accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with trust accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
